Welcome to our Patient Navigation Program, designed to help you with barriers to achieving optimum functional outcomes.

We understand that there is often confusion or lack of understanding of the processes surrounding the provision and use of an orthotic or prosthetic device and related rehabilitation care.

Whether there is a language difficulty, difficulty in getting to appointments, transportation or issues understanding your health insurance benefits, the patient navigators at Orthologix are here to help.

The navigator is your go-to person, answering your questions, providing an array of resources to ensure better health and better health care.

Your patient navigator will:

  • Guide you through treatment.
  • Help you gather all your medical records.
  • Work with you to understand your insurance.
  • Assist with accessing specialists and scheduling appointments.
  • Help connect you with financial aid, transportation, or child care when needed.
  • Coordinate access to services such as education, support and identification of other resources needed.
  • Help you and your caregiver understand your personalized plan of care.
  • Keep track of your treatment progress.
  • Provide information to make your visits easier, such as directions, parking, transportation and hotels.
  • Connect you with resources you need to be healthy.

Orthologix patient navigators are trained through the University of Colorado School of Public Health and work with other navigators, rehabilitation specialists, social service and case managers at health systems and insurers throughout the tri-state area.

Orthologix patient navigators are non-clinical navigators and they do not offer medical advice.
